Any belly boaters in here?
Help a noobie out!
Over the winter I aquired a Caddis float tube, I've wanted a belly boat for some time, and the local pro shop had an unbeatable price. A bit later Bass Pro got me into some 3.5mm neoprene chest waders for just over $50, and I already had some fins from my boogie boarding days. Yesterday Lovey bought me a lovely red inflatable PFD for my upcoming 50th birthday, so am I missing anything?
Any suggestions for how to pack tackle? The pockets on the BB don't look like they'd hold much.
I have a variety of rod 'n reel combos, any preferences? My own is for spinning gear, but I also have trigger spin casters and regular closed face casters. I don't have any bait casters, nor particularly want one.
I know not to use a BB in running water, but what about deep still water since I have a PFD?
Any other tips or suggestions?
