My family goes on a midsummer fishing trip for a week. Were thinking about somewhere in Minnesota or Wisconsin. I would appreciate any help.

Goals

1. Mainly looking for Pike during the day

2. Walleye in the evenings

3. Scenic

It really depends on your budget and needs. Would you like to stay at a lodge, would you need a guide, do you have your own boat...etc. With 10,000 lakes in Minnesota, the possibilities are endless. If it were me, I would concentrate on the bigger most poular lakes such as Lake Of The Woods, Milles Lacs, Rainy Lake and Leech Lake.

Not sure what Lake Of The Woods you're referring to, but the one I know of is in Minnesota as well as Canada.
