Getting some young friends out fishing [pics]
 

Well, I took the day to take some young friends out fishing and we had a great time. With unseasonable cold temperatures (-2F when we left this morning) I knew a challenge would be keeping them warm. I brought the shanty out an a big propane heater and we made it work.

We did manage a few Bluegill, but it is nearly impossible to get out of the shanty in these temperatures.

Overall, it was a great morning. The kids did great in the temperatures and the hot chocolate was an added bonus.

If you get the chance this year, get some young people into the sport of fishing!
