Toothy Critters

Other than Dirt Dawg, who I know goes fishing for Pike, anybody like to wrestle with them? I am hoping to gain more knowledge on pike fishing, so what are your tips and tricks? Thanx!:confused0024:

IN SHALLOW WATER. which is all i have experience in any spoons work well white and red being of choice. spinnerbaits with red and black skirts do well. pike will come in to shore in the evening to feed! within 2 or three feet of the bank usually. i also picked up a top water lure at bass pro called the turbo toad. i was in ontario bear hunting last week it worked very well! p.s steel leaders are a must

where in new york do you live? I fish cranberry lake and they have some pretty good size ones there. think biggest caught so far was about 26 lbs. best i have done is 38 inch, 16 lbs. #5 bucktail with white tail seems to work great on both the bass and pike.
