Winter Tournament?!?!?

I notice that the tournament ends August 30th. Would anybody care to have a fall/winter tournament from September through February? I think that might be a great way for us all to learn how to use different lures. I know I am stuck in a rut when it comes to lures because the topwater bite has been so good for so long. Come winter time, top water won't work anymore and I'll be forced to learn a new way to fish.

So what does everybody think, would ya'll be interested in a fall/winter bass or crappie tournament?

I know it would exclude people from the north, but it would give us people in the south something to compete for.

I'm in, its my off season, and I love to use a Jig-n-pig anyway. I'm sure Keith feels the same way :D.

Aaron,
I will probably pass on this one..

I'll be focusing on deer hunting ..plus I was gone to kind of take a little break from HNI after the tourny is over. School gets tougher every year and I need to focus on that ..my wife also has an illness that has no cure..I need to focus on her as well..

That has to be the life... Casting a rod on a lake in the winter... I didn't know it was possible... :)

Have fun guys.

I'll be catching Steelies in the river though!

pshhhh, i cut my yard the week of christmas last year, and did it in shorts.

We are built for heat down here. Knowing that, you won't catch me on an ice'd lake. Regardless of how thick the ice is, it aint thick enough :s2:
