I'm going to BASS PRO this morning.WIll be my first time.I'm taking my quick release with me..and my carbon arrows..in case they need cut down..I've got about 20 and I aint buying new arrows..[8D]

The place is 55 minutes away according to the GPS.

Sept. is coming up pretty soon Chuck so now is the time to getting that bow and arrows in sink with each other. With all the hogs down there you should be able to stick one. When I was down there they were a big nuisance rooting up the turf as it looked as if a bull dozer went through there.

BASS PRO is a trip ..WOW!!! What a place .That place has everything..;)Yesterday was my first time there..It's 55 minutes away.46 miles.I bought some worm rattles...micro small barrel swivels.4 packs of Culpret black worms..which paid off this morning.Panther Martin fly..I bought their last 5..The GLoomis rods were very tempting..my favorite of all the rods.

The archery man meaured my draw..29 inches and comfortable poundage..60 pounds..He reccomended the BOWTECH Diamond KRYPTIC

I got a nice Quantum Reel 100.00 ..20 minutes ago..really nice..it's a flipping reel with a 7.0 ratio..Walmart's last one..I'm putting 12 pound mono on it..I lost a good one this morning on 10 pound.[&o]but I still boated a 5 1/2

did your "thread" break[:-][&o][:@], that heavy grass you fish i'd be spoolin up with some reel (AKA real line) on them spools, way to go on the good'en;)

I'm only having trouble with the hook sets MT...once their hooked I'm pretty good..I think 12 pound will do it..;)I'm fishing in the deep now..not so much grass partner..

Dont feel bad, lost my second fish over 6 lbs today because of a line break, the first broke 12lb Big game and the 2nd broke 8 lb sufix, but both have been on a while. Time to respool for me:D

Hey...this time of the year..a 4 pounder is huge..We are presently in the dawg days.Matt and I areleaving to go to BASS PRO at 9:30 this morning so I plan to just fish one spot really hard..I should be on the lake at 5:50AM ...Daily temperatures have been consistently in the 100s[&o]


BASS PRO had something on sale thought I was wrestling about getting..I'm gone back to get them..100 10inch Grape/black Powerbait worms..for 39.00that is an awesome deal considering tackleshops sell them for 4.99 for 5 worms..

No hole, just a whole bunch of hollerin at the tops of those guys lungs, they were happy thats for sure. Never really noticed that guys teeth though until now. You ought to go out one day and capture ya one Chuck, its an unforgettable experience. IF I ever bring my boat to Florida we will swap a day, one day of your bass fishing to one day offshore down there. ;)

Ya'll must have some super strong fish there down South.

I fish 4 and 6 pounds mono, very little 8 pound and I don't believe I have lost a Largemouth this season because of a line snap.

On the other hand, I have lost my fair share due to fighting 8-\
