I've always had good luck with Panther Martin's, Daredevil's, and various spinners and roostertails. You just have to match the lure to the water. Usually, for the water that I fish, the darker colors work best. These are for open water. If you are talking about ice fishing, then you're pretty much stuck with live bait or some form of marshmellow/powerbait. Good luck!

I've caught trout on spawn bags and marshmallows. And I've seen people catch them on corn too.

Small spinners and rapalas or berkley powerbait.

Mepps spinners, panther martins, rooster tails, hus-lures, joe flies(fly spinners) will all work. Try spinners in plain silver or brass, rooster tails in white or yellow.

I've had good luck with silver or gold Blue Fox spinners as well as Rapalas.

zonkers, sculpins, glo bugs, and beads seem to work the best for us up here....I would be the zonkers and sculpins would work where you are at also, not to mention some stone fly immitations under a 'bobber'.

This will sound strange but try a small spinner but put red salmon eggs on the barbs. Give it a try.
