hey chuck, check out the berkeley AMP rods.. I was amazed at how light they are for only $30. Only difference I see between them and more expensive rods is the number of guides

I use the premier and love it, a little softer action than I used to use, but has handled everything I throw at it in the saltwater and fresh. Either way you cant go wrong with a St. Croix. Thanks for the heads up too Josh, ill check those AMPS out

Yes, thanks for the heads up Josh..I'll check them out..I've always wanted a St.Croix..my favorite tackle shop is closing down tomorrow..Matt and I plan to get our last load of shiners from him and I may pick up a St.Croix ultra light or light spinning to help the man out..[8D] They were about 35.00.
