All trout are different!?!?

Are you talking live bait? Artificial? Lure?

I will give my list of my personal preference of each(this IMO)...

Live bait~~ Red finned minnows(Threaded) or Meal Worm

Artificial~~ I dont tend to use the stuff but Powerbait is hard to beat for what it is!

Lure~~ My Handtied Spinners

Now if I amgoing after the big boys you will hardly see me with anything but a Rapala, Rebel, or Yo-Zuri Pinns Minnow on the end of my line?? I will also fish the big ones with Minnows as well!

There are so many things that trout will go after it is hard to narrow it down to one thing??

I guess if I could only carry one thing with me on any stream it would be a Handtied Spinner simply because they are simply more enjoyable for me to fish???

It depends on what kind of trout your fishing as well as native or stocked.. A little more info and you may get a little more help on this one. Also depends on time ofyear as well as stream ,river, or lake..
As some has stated red fin shiners work good as well as worms for most times of the year. I have friends that have caught alot of them just using a kernel of corn right out of a can.. So give us a little more info.. Also brook, brown, rainbow, ect...

wardens rooster tails are great for rainbows. garlic marshmellows will catch you brookies, rainbows, cuts, browns and many more. Mosquitoe flies work well for most and so do dry fly boatsmen.
