Who uses one of these? like it? Which models have the baitrunner clicker? Is the 6500 series too big to use for throwing plugs? I'll be using it mainly for catfish and stripers. Thanks alot.

AS far as a garcia Baitcaster..I would only get a Revo...Walmart's cheaper Revo..100.00 model is superb..Teh other models..I could never get the spool set just right and they are very heavy ..The Garcia Revo is in a class all by itself..presently my go to reel.The teflon drag is second to none..It won't hang up ..it's perfect..The 9 ball bearings make it smooth as silk.;)

The 6500 C-3 is all I use for the stripers and big cats( Blues and Flatheads).Depending on what line I have on them I sometimes throw large crank baits Striper size Yo-zuris and Rebels in the 6" to 8" size.

cnat go wrong with a c3 they make a great musky reel so i think it would wourk for stripers and cats too. i'd for sure go with the 6500 the 55 is just too small.
