MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVE FLOODED ALL THE FORUMS WITH THAT THREAD AND THEY HAVE READ IT ELSE WHERE. <img src=icon_smile_shy.gif border=0 align=middle> SO YOU SHOULD NOT GET YOUR FEELERS HURT. THIS IS A VERY SLOW FORUM AND I WOULD THINK THE READERS HERE ARE READING OTHER FORUMS AS WELL.

Hey Chekmate I have a question! You have 50 posts so far on this board so far, right? Has every single post you made been about the General Mills Boycot? After awhile it starts to get old man!

Finaly I got some response from this forum. Thanks for all the replies. Now I know at least some of you on this forum have read my thread.

First to you AK Nimrod, yes I've spammed this on all the forums because the average sportsman or woman is apathetic. We like to complain to each other but seldom do we do anything about it.

I've put out a lot more than 50 posts and the reason I am is because people like you thing it is getting old. The only way we're going to win this is to keep it in everyones face. We sportsmen and women have been too apathetic for to long. We love to complain about all the problems issues but seldom do anything about it. When we do, do something it’s usually once and then forgotten.

I’m was no different. I talk about the problems with other hunters and I’d wait for someone else to do something. Well! we can’t rely on someone else. We are the someone else, and if we don’t collectively get off our butts and do something we will see a lot more of this from companies like “General Mills” not researching the fact and supporting more of these ARA organizations, these terrorists.

What my problem is the apathy of the average sportsperson!

I’m not attaching any of you it’s just I’ve had enough of the lack of concern, and the lack of involvement. None of my responses are directed at you personally. It just the sports community needs to check out this issues and do something. And keep everyone at it. If I get someone pissed at what I say how cares. Maybe I'll also get them involved.

If you heard about it a long time ago, why didn't you do something about it. I'm assuming from your &quot;find a different soap box&quot; remark you did nothing. (You know what assume means don't you? it means making an ass out of u and me)

In my previous reply I use the words apathetic and apathy because it is shorter than writing apathy (indifference, lack of concern, lack of interest or laziness) apathetic (indifferent, unconcerned or Lazy) . As you can see I've got a thesaurus and no how to use it.

If all sportsmen and women are like this then you might as well hang up your guns, bows and fishing poles because these sports have no future.

The great Fred Bear once said, if your not doing something to help the sport, then your helping to destroy it.

So I'm proud! too stand on this soap box. I know I'm trying to make a difference. Are you helping or destroying? That’s the questions you have to ask yourselves.

just wasting your time humoring this guy!!! Right now we got our own fight going on.....check out the bowsite for the links. You wanna raise hell thats the place to do it! Folks are submitting, getting that generic response from GM! My thoughts with them have been noted..dont need to post about it!

I think you did a helluva job doing that LOL! I dont know of any other spots that you havent found..........One word for the wise, I can feel your grief, just dont make an idiot of yourself like I recently did on a very similar issue. I can see your point that most people are apathetic on certain issues but, I notice in most of your posts you say things like &quot;The boycot Istarted&quot; and &quot;Hope they follow my lead&quot; like this is some personal battle for you or need for recognition, hence the posting on every board and thread from here to Kukamonga and back.

Instead of using your present tactics maybe you should try being more respectful in your posts and then maybe people won't just get offended or put on the defensive and ignore you. I might be lazy at times but I sure don't like being called lazy. Think about it.
