I've always wanted to fish in FLORIDA I KEEP hearing about the big bass and crappies down there, would love to bring back a good mess of fish for a fish fry. Right now I have a daughter in college and my son getting married this year just don't have the money for a plane ticket.

I don't think our crappie are any bigger than most states..but yes..we do have agood supply of big bass. I'm surprized no one has gotten one over 17 yet..you can go to about any taxidermist shop and always find a few 14s getting mounted...Maybe that's why there isn't any 18s.I've lost a few that were monsters..they feel like your battling a telephone pole for the first 45 seconds..

Me and the rest of the family are going to tryand go to Eufaula Al. this spring probably the begining of april, hope to come back with a good mess of crappie and whatever else we can catch. This will be our first time going. Ive talked with a couple of guys I work with that go every year and they said they usually do pretty good.

I'll be lucky to have a trip anywhere this year. We had to sell our boat I'm hoping to go to the Chippewa Flowage this year.
