I had a couple of 16s before..years ago..I wished I was finantially fit in those day sto have gotten one of them mounted..That is generally a good 2 pound speck / crappie..Where I fish has th numbers but size is lacking..I'd be happy to land a 14 incher this year..;)

Here 's a bunch from a nice crappie hole I found a few years ago..not sure but this may have been one of the 16 inchers..

Good God why didnt I know about this. Yall know I am the rappie King! We cut up 9 of them over 14" last weekend.

Well,
I'm going to wet a line this morning...I'll flip the structure looking for pre spawn bass...and drifting two minnow rods behind..

Finding crappie at Saddle Creek is like looking for a needle in a haystack.BUT once they are found..they are very nice..In case I can't find them I'll give an update on the bass..I plan to keep the small bass this year ..we can keep 3 per outing..They are great in the smoker.
