11.4 pounder yesterday!
 

Just bragging. At 53 I finally broke the ten pound mark yesterday. Fishing at my secret spot and getting rid of a few previously consumed Miller Lites and rod in one hand when tap tap started. Set the hook and away she went. Hook fell out when I picked up the fish. Used a powerworm, camo 7 inch and a 3/16 purple weight with small straight shank gamagatsu hook. Texas rig is may favorite method other than top water and this was the best. If I get hit by a truck today it' s ok now. Have photos but will have to try to scan them as they were on a throw away camera my buddy had.:D

congrats on the pig! your lucky...i cant start thinking of bass fishing seriously until may or june...sure they hit from now on but they are sluggish and no fun.....but until then trout fishing will make up for it.....congrats that sure is a pig...i cant wait to see a pic!!
