best place to buy fly materials?
 
I just started fly fishing and fly tying. I need to buy some materials for a cheap price. Where do you guys buy yours and where is the cheapest place to buy.

I purchase alot of my fly tying stuff from e-bay, but it is like anything you need to know what you want and what the average price is for it.

Depends on what type of flies your looking to tie. One of the most efficient and reasonable materials, imo, in terms of #of flies is patches of Elkand deer hair...especially if your talking dry flies.

Cabelas has decent quality stuff for the begginner. One of their deals I still particularly like is the multi-packs of different colored hackle in the same size range:
