RE: Fishing pole overboard

My brother in law was fishing on a cold late fall day. Couldn't feel his fingers anymore. Went to cast and the pole went for a ride. Never to be seen again.:D

I was fishing for white perch using 2 rods, 1 with worms and the other with live bait. The rod with live bait was the wifes rod, it was a 5 1/2 foot ugly stick and when I saw it getting a hit it was as Chuck said Wam Bam and I couldn't reach it in time. The next dayI was up trolling with a heavey D ring with 3 sets of tripple hooks attached to it and still no luck. So the wife ended up getting a brand new rod and reel out of it..

RE: Fishing pole overboard

Last year while saltwater fishing a ladyfish snatched my Lightning rod out of the boat..I thought it was gone forever..then about an hour later my son says.,"Look, there is your rod bobbing up and down." :DI chased my rod and pulled it up with the fish still on it..When I got home I took the reel apart and cleaned it good. The fish had pulled it through all kinds od mud.:D
In Summary...pay attention out there..:D;)
