Decent Spinning Reel

Went out to the garage today and found an old spinning reel in the corner that I've never used. It's a Shakespeare Prius Combo.

On the rod it says: PRIUS 66 2M 6'6'' (1.98M) Action:Medium (6-15 Lb. Line)
On the reel it says: Prius, Ball Bearing, 8lb/260yds; 10lb/195yds; 12lb/175yds. Balanced Rotor; P440C. (I have no idea what that means:D)

Anyways, here's a picture of it. I got it to go fising for speckled trout/red fish with my uncle last year but we never went. Now I'm wondering can I use it to bass fish with?

its a little large, but it'll work. spool on some 10 or 12 lb mono and have fun.

exactly what Josh said, but i'll also add, if you get the chance to go after some of those big bull reds go, man they are a blast, and the trout are some great eating;)

for bass spool up some 10-12# test and have at it;), the fish will never know the difference[:-];):D:D
