PENN LEVELINE 350

I recently purchased this reel off of ebay for $22. Is it worth the money I spent? Looks like an awsome reel that is in very good shape for being used. Im planning on using it for fishing for flatheads. Does anyone own one or know anything about them that you could tellme such as line capacity, gear ratio, reliability, or anything else that you would like to share. Thanks!!!

looks like it would be good for trolling and dead bait fishing for big game. i personally would not touch it for bass or other game fish. i am taking my fishing equipment much much more serious than i used to. i am buying the quality stuff and different rods for each technique and dif. reels w/ dif ratios for dif. lures. and def. gunna start using glass rods for crankbaits.

I have some but can not tell you what gear ratio is.. They have been very reliable reels that were used for saltwater fishing or putting leadline on for trolling lake trout in fresh water. It is worth the money however it does look as though it is missing a part. That being the v type backet that should be attached to the bar on top. ( in the first photo) The v shape piece would travel back and forth as you reel it in, this helps keep the line level. It would probally work great on the flatheads if you use it to just drop the line down or do a slow drift..

It works great as a flathead reel, it is what we use around here.
