I've seen signs of possible springs in the middle, if so, I'll be putting some walleys in there. Plan on doing some fishing this weekend, if'n I catch any of the big boys, I'll post the pics.

Went fishing this afternoon and not a bite. The ice was a good 14" thick. Tomorrow its supposed to get up to 40 degrees. Gonna have a lot of water on the ice with all the melting snow.

I do what we call "poor man's fly fishing". I put the fly on the end of 2 lb line and put a round bobber 3' behind it. You cast it out and once all the ripples disappear, start reeling in real slow so the fly makes a small "V" while being recovered. In late evening and early morning while the water is still, this works like a dream. Just have to have patience so you don't experience premature setthehookulation.
