Solo,
i live in the Quad Cities
Drop Shotting is a situation specific technique...it works but you have to be in the right situation to use it effective....

it doesnt really fit my style of fishing...i like to pitch and flip cover...thats how i get my fish, thats where im comfortable. i can fish the same bank after 2 other guys just got done fishing without putting one in the well and catch 2-3 keepers.(not all the time but sometimes)

i do like the Drop shot, i like it better than the carolina rig....but its kindof useless to my style of fishing on the Mississippi River...when iget on a Lake or Reservoir with some nice points and drops ill use one.

Texas Rig andscum-frogsare the Kings on the waters that i fish.
not that they are better lures....they just match the situation.
