Default 2008 HNI FISHING CONTEST RULES

Lets try these and see what evry one thinks is fair..

1. Must be Largemouth, Smallmouth or Spotted bass

2. Artificial baits only

3. Three divisions, Heaviest Largemouth, Heaviest Smallmouth and Heaviets Spot will be named winner of each.

4. Fishing will start 02/01/08 and run through 08/31/08

5. A picture of the fish, with or without person in it, weight to be posted with the fish and dated.

Are you allowed to catch these threw the ice while jigging with artificial lures ?

Is there gonna benorth and south divisions. Or are us northerners supposed to catch 8-10 pound bass like you southern guys have. Doesn't really seem fair. Maybe it would work if you weighed your top 2 or 3 fish instead of just one.

As for the weight, i was thinking weigh it and include it in the posted picture. I think it will be pretty easy to tell a 2lb bass to a 10lb bass.

Heavest 2 fish in each catagory will be fine.

these were just a basic set up to see what everyone thought we can make change before it all starts

Yeah i reckon we are gonna need some sorta date on this as well.

How about, a picturewith you and the fish, dated, with a weight included in the post.??

Putting in a date isn't important and it keeps the fish out of water longer than necessary. If people want to cheat they will find a way. Seeing as how there is no prize there is no need to cheat. All we need is a picture and a weight in the post.

Just stinkfish??? That isnt really fair with the southern guys vs the northern guys....we should come up with a system for multi species....
