Firm believer here in you get what you pay for.... I have a few G'Loomis rods and they are the nicest rods I have ever used, I also have some 20 dollar Creekside fishing rods and they hold up suprisingly well but dont have hardly any feel whatsoever compaired to the Loomis or even the St.Croix's I own... To each their own though...
