RE: FLW Live Weigh In Today Online
Hey Chuck thanks for the welcome and I have been reading
these threads for a long time and just thought I would join. Just wanted you to know that this is on your computer not on TV at flwoutdoors.com today at 5:00 C.T. today.I watched it yesterday and it was a tough day of fishing for the pros but the final weigh in will be today for 1 million top prize which is really unbelieveable.I will be pulling for David Dudley from Virginia who only lives 50 miles from me.Also I see you and Phil from maine are fishing in your tournment just wondered if you or Phil ever throw any lizards there.Where we fish here the Zoom 6 inch pumpkinseed or green-pumpkinseed are dynamite year round here for largemouth or smallmouth bass rigged texas style.During summer months I will also fish these on a carolina rig off points or dropoffs when weather is hot like it is now.Caught my biggest bass 8.4 pounds on the Zoom lizard a few years ago and love these baits. It doesnt matter if you have lizards or not in your area these baits flat out work!Good luck to you and Phil in your tournament as I know it makes the fishing all the more fun which is why we do it. RE: FLW Live Weigh In Today Online
I want to welcome you to the forums as well Mike, and I do not know how to fish the so called rigged texas style or any different style of fishing other than casting and waiting or simply drifting along with my bait out and just waiting for a bite.( I am using a 17' 4" canoe powered by paddle ) My boat motor is down so I am using the old fashion way of doing things. I did buy some stuff in a yard sale Friday that had some of those pumkinseed lizards in it tho. I am thinking I might try running a hook through it and just drift along to see what happens.. The bass water I am drifting over constantly changes from 7 feet to about 2 feet lika a roller coaster. So I am hoping that perhaps this may work but I am not really sure...I also cast and reel in the rapalas and stuff like that..
Also thank you for the compliment.. Phil |
