Well,
Sorry to hear that fellows. Like I said,,,if someone post something in July ,I will only fish rubber worms in August....That will knock my catch ratio down drstically as well as size. I usually only get a couple this time of the year on rubber worms {per outing} and they usualy are small. I will leave all the other lures at home and rely on faith, depth finder and fineses fishing.

That is ..if I'm the winner of July. It's not overtill it's over. I've got a reservation for Fish Hook Friday and Sat,. The full moon is Monday so this is the weekend to fish.

God bless,
C7

PS Until August comes...I plan to use what works.

You do not have to worry about using just rubber worms Chuck, I will be posting before August for you. They may or may not be very big but, I will keep em comming for you...

Thanks Phil,

But with all sincerity...I hope you kick my butt. If I had one big bass artificial lure it would be a rubber worm. I try to be a man of my word Phil, and rubber worm is my lure for August. { Christmas Tree to be exact} a grape black worm with glitter.

Good luck and i hope that knee heals fast.

Sounds good Phil,

I did some pre scouting yesterday and I think I found a good spot...for hogs and deer. I've been shooting my bow alot and getting some decent groups. I'm going fishing at Fish Hook tomorrow. I'm hoping for a good report on that knee.

The pic of the smallmouthI had yesterdayI lost somehow??? SoI had to catch a couple today. I had saw some brutes coming up on top but no luck except a broken fish hook. Now you folks have gotten me interested in those large mouths. They are deffinately different to fish for though..

No I caught them on frogs skipping them over the lilly pads for the largemouths and the smallmouths I caught with worms. I had no luck with the crawdads today.. Yesterday the smallmouths hit them hard..
