Evinrude

I bought a 15 horse Evinrude in 2000 and put a moderate number of hours on it frm 2000-2003. It has been in storage since. Any idea of what it would be worth.

I just saw a 14 foot jon yesterday in the paper with a nice trailor , depth finder and newish 15 HP Evinrude...1200.00

I was real tempted to give the man a call. That 15 hP motor new would cost about 2300.00 I paid 1000 for a 4 HP 1 year a go,,I was very silly. I saw 3 nice packages yesterday from 1000 - 1500 all 14 footers.:(

I drove 27 miles and checked out the boat. he was goingto let me have it for 1150.00 I turned it down..Lights didn't work and the engine wouldn't idle....tough choice but I'm 1150.00 richer.;)

$600 - 900 for a motor with undocumented hours that has sit for 4 years. Sitting on a 2 stroke is worse than running it.

Thanks for the info Josh. Trust me, i would much rather be running the thing everyday instead of letting it sit in a barn. But, I moved from a house on the mississippi river to living on a river that is too low to even canoe in some spots.
