Northerns for sure. Topwater or running mepps spinner......teeth, swirl, splash and zinging drag. Gotta love Ole Toothy!!!!!!!! Not much beats leaving a bay and seeing all those turned up lips of the hawgs you just caught and released.

i like all fresh water fish. but my most favs are perch, bass, blue gill, sun fish, walleye and northerns. i like to use a bobber and worms for blue gill and sun fish but when going for walleyes i like to use a big weight and a floater and just sit a minnow on the bottom. northerns i like dare devils but most of the time use smelt and put them on the bottom.

Detroit river walleyes!
lk st.clair for muskie, smallies and monster perch.
lk erie for walleyes, perch and steelhead.
If it can be caught Ill fish for it,, but my absolute favorite though is handlining in the Detroit river at night for walleyes! Its a real kick when you get a thirty plus pound muskie on and all hell breaks loose! I guess being able to pull in a half dozen 10+# walleyes a year has spoiled me!

What I have most fun with is sandies (white bass to you non-Texan fellers) or hybrid stripers on a flyrod. White maribou streamer stripped thru a surfacing school is tops! A fight on every cast.

Trout,LLsalmon.and Lake Trout in fresh water and Stripped Bass,Fluke and Cod in the Salt. But I' m not picky if it swims and fit in the cooler I' ll fish for it. If it doesn' t fit in the cooler I' ll fillet it. ps I have an Igloo 94. Fits alot of fillets.
