I never use live crawfish they craw under rocks and get me stuck to much. I like to hook them by the tail and crush their heads until the orange stuff comes out. Just be sure to take off the claws ( you will get more bites that way) As far as lures go I like the rebel wee craw, a yellow roostertail, and the bluefox stand up jig in camo.
