Friends,
It's 11 days before the full moon..There was 10 serous boaters out today .
All of us struck out. How did you all do.

They were fishing artificails , crickets, minnows and shiners.
Everyone struck out . I had one bump.

Do ya got aany promicing lakes up there Josh? I usedto fish the Potomic RIver. ..right in front of the Jefferson Memorial...I remember snatch fishing shad in front of the Jefferson. I slow baked them all day at 250 degrees with vinegar in the cavity to dissolve the bones,,,,,Good Stuff.;)

This morning I saw 10 boats. 8 were strictly bass fishing..No one goe nothing. Fact the lady at the registration ask me today :Chuck, are there really bass in Lake 5?" :(LOL ..Buffdmac said.."Dad with a question like that you should have chosen a different lake."[8D]:D LOL Once a week anglers fill out a creel sheet. I reckon the sheets have been coming out empty.:eek:

Well, I never waste tiem.Even if the fish are off..I find something worthy to do.If I'm at Saddle Creek I pick lures off teh tree. Today, I explored sandbars, drop offs and brush piles wth my depth finder{ Which was working great } I thought it was off when it went from 10 foot to 2 feet. Sure enough , I dropped my texas rig straight now to estimate the depth...my Cabelas depth finder was right on.. Also..I was finding very few fish..

Again, thanks to Josh's tournament I'll be fishing about 50 more times. One of those times when I'm Carolining a 10 inch Zoom....I'll be posting a big fish with a big smile..Now if it's caught at Tenoroc it must be released..anywhere else..she's on the wall.

Are you saying you didn't get one hit?

That is helpful because if it is a moon phase it should have the same effect all over.Even MTHands didn't do well yesterday afternoon. Of course his wife fared well earlier but then again..she's a pro. She actually shouldn't be fishing.[8D]

I'm sorry to hear about your arm Oneshot7..

I 'm a visual person.Can you tell me exactly what is wrong wiith your arm?..this helps me in my praying. You mentioned something about throwing..did you throw something out of whack? My son's right shoulder becomes dis located at times. He pitched baseball for 7 years and messed it up.

My girlfriend and I went fishing today. We caught 14 bass over 1lb and a lot of smaller ones and some crappies. Highlight (or lowlight if you think about it) was when I decided to test the clacker bait. Had a bass that would of easily gone 8lbs absolutely inhale it about 8 feet from the boat. Set the hook and...... SNAP!!! broke my line. The bass then spent the next 3 minutes jumping arpund trying to toss the lure it still had in its mouth! (From what I could see it was right in the corner and I would of had one hell of a fest for the tournament had the freaking line not broken) Also had a 5lber take a swipe at a baby 1-minus but it missed completely.

I went out twice today, this morning i caught 1 small mouth on a chrome rattle trap. And after lunch i caught about 10 strip in about a hour, i will go out again tomorrow and give it another go

You wouldn't believe it if I told you. Last year there were 4 6lbers and a 7lber caught out of this pond which is a max of 2 acres in size. The problem is I never have enough time to fish it. The best time is in the summer when you start catching them on scum frogs. It looks like hand grenades going off in the water!
