guys you know how i have said get your women interested in fishing and hunting,,,, well disregard anything i mentioned to the effect, took the misses out this morning and,,, well,,, she took me to school[&o], she out-fished me 3/1 she said i caught 3 keepers but she was just trying too ease the pain, we fished from 6:30 ish till noon and caught 11 fish with 7 being keepers (15") she said i caught 3 and she caught 4, but this was a first, she had caught the biggest, well i decided to take here to task, decided a little "big fishing" might be in order", so we go to one of my favorite places and i hooked a big fish, mouth looked like a five gallon bucket ( OK, maybe a quart jar[:@];)) still a good fish, so i start celebrating and talking smack and the fish comes unbuttoned, she just says "ya know, that's a deadgum shame, i believe that fish would have been close too mine"[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@], me "ya think"

anyway i got my bottom spanked before she has to go to work, and i'll try to put a big'en in the boat this afternoon, (That'll show here;))

man mt, I am sooooo sorry. Not only did she outfish you, you will have to hear it for the rest of your life:(:D. Think of it as an opportunity to grow, you know, Paul had a thorn in his flesh and well... she has pictures of outfishing you.[:'(]

Thanks for the nice pics MT. I went out today as well.after work.I think that last cold front messed me up today. VERY WINDY today..I went with my 6th sense.:).and I fished the deep water...16 feet. I was carolina drifting a Zoom and Gambler...A 2 pounder grabbed the Zoom and that was it. I love the 7 foot rod for Carolina rigging...fish in the boat.That was Horse Shoe Lake for you locals. I'll be flipping the willow trees on Lake 5 tomorrow..There are many 10 pounders being caught at Fish Hook Lake..Only 4 boats allowed. I went to sign up.for Fish Hook and it is filled .:(..they are full till next weekend. I signed up for next Fri. and Sat..I'm taking next Fri .off. That will be the weekend before the full moon. Let's see what happens.

man are you trying to cheer me up or what;), for us its all in good fun;), it's a team deal, plus she'll tell you she has no idea of what area we were fishing or what kinda bait we were throwing;), i have taught her well, don't you think;);););), plus we have the best time(s);)and do 98% of our fishing for pure enjoyment;)
