Chuck7...Thanks, Chuck..That's a very kind offer and there is a chance I might get down that way..My sister has a place in Port Charlotte and I usually go down to visit in the late winter/early spring...

Also, I have a hunting buddy that lives over on the St. John's River..Never been to his home in Florida, but I've been to his hunting lease in GA several times hunting hogs, and I hope to get down to hunt gobblers and fish with him someday...

Just let me know...I've got a small jon boat but it does have 2 seats.;)It is a heavy duty model so it's pretty stable. I have at least 25 lakes within 5 miles. 20 are very safe for a jon boat even on a windy day..they are filled with islands to hide behind. How many people would be coming with you?

Just L'il ol me... I'm not very big...5'6" and about 160...

My brother in law is not very interested in fishing...He loves to EAT fresh fish, but would much rather GOLF than fish... To each his own, eh..??..

The reason I ask...we live kind of humble down here but accomondations for one...shoot...I can handle that. I'm planning on doing some serious fishing this summer. By all means consider stopping by. ..we will have fun. I have lots of places to fish...
