You forgot to post a question...By the way I use a flimsy medium rod and a 2 /0 hook when fishing shiners..I do not cross their eyes..I've tried all different kinds of ways and this way I catch about 95 % of my bass, When we use a medium heavy we lose 50% ..on the flemsy rod the bass sets the hook himself and you simply let the rod catch the fish like you do crappie.NOW...once the fish is hooked..that's a different story.Keep a TIGHT line with jussst enough drag and bring the bad girl in.;)
