Yes..I caught and ate shad I snatched hooked in front of the Jefferson memorial in Washington D. C. They were awesome..slow cooked with vinegar in the cavity all day. Teh vinegar dissolved the hairlike bones.

have you ever used a castnet?

I have to admit I tried it about 10 years ago when I was night fishing... It did work until I set the hook and flung the bell into the darkness!!!

Ive fished with corn for other species of fish but ive never fished for carp before

What is one species of fished you have never caught before but would really like to have it on the other end of your line.

Mine would have to be a Paddlefish, those fish are wicked looking and look like they would give one hell of a fight.
