Driftwood is the way to go.

Anyhow, If I am in a river I think wader are appropriate, otherwise, I wouldn't get the point of the question?

Yep, nothing worse then running out, or realizing that your line has gotten old and crappy and it keeps breaking on you.

Do you bring a back-up rod and reel in case something happens to the one you are using??

Actually I buy rods/reels that'll go for everything I fish. Not specific species. So I'll say none.

Not to be funny but I don't need one thing. I actually have a back up box. I was goin got buy a new baitcaster today but..I took mine apart and oiled it..MAN..she's just like new .We are carful how we spend money in our home. We are saving for that dream house.;)
