HOW MANY WALLEYE???

How many of you cut heads on all the legal walleye you catch within your daily limits?

Most guys around here Cut heads on everyone of them... sometimes they go get one limit, go home drop that off, and go out and get another limit when the fishig is good(they cull the Sauger because the Walleye are bigger)...i live very close to the Mississippi River(upper)...and fish it alot and i notice Wally's are slim pickuns around here....mostly just Sauger anymore...due to over harvest (and polluted water maybe)....i always let the Wally's go and keep the sauger to eat. since there seems to be plenty of them swim'n around....id say 12-1 saugerover Walleye ratio...at least from what ive caught anyway...
i'm starting to worry about the Walleye in my area.

RE: HOW MANY WALLEYE???

We do have Sauger but you have to get up by the Canadian border to get into them. Around here we have some pretty good eye fishing. I am a 1 limit a day guy, kind of have to be since my sister is a Conservation Officer.;)
