tip-up tactics
 

Anybody know any effective ways for catching walleyes and northerns on the same bait? I have been using tip-ups for quite a while and have got some real trophies. 9lb walleye and 25 lb northern last year. I use live shiners on a stationary tip-up but I get a lot of flukes and catch a lot of little ones. I want something that abig northern will take and still small enough for a walleye.
