Confusion on the tourny

I don't understand the following.

2006 Winter Fishing Tournament Standings:
1. hldeadeye23.....124"

#1 There were no pictures of a ruler on any ofyour fish. I understood that to be the rule.
#2. I thought we were only doing the longest fish species for the season.
c7

A.So is it total inches per species or total inches including all species?
B.And, does every fish caught need to be measured and photographed??

It was to my understanding that we were only going to count the longest fish of each species caught. Total inches would be to great a task as I generaaly catch about 30 crappie on each outing . Is there a big fish winning as well because I was only going to record my best fish.?

I was a bit confused on that too Chuck, i asked these questions in my post on the scoring thread. If i understand it right, i think we are going by total inches caught, and also having a seperate winner for the biggest individual fish caught. As far as the measurement pic, im still not sure if that is for every fish or just the ones we wish to enter for the biggest individual fish. I included the measurement pic just to be safe. I threw a lot of fish back the other day that could have helped out in total inches. Thats alright though, i'll be trying to get me one of those big 4 year old kings next week.

I ice fish almost every day all winter and target bluegills, sunnies, crappie and yellow perch. On reallygood days I will catch over 100 pounds and have had banner days of 200 pounds. Does that mean I can line them all up next to a ruler and post that?My catch would be 124 feet not inches.:D

LOL When I was 7 a man told me they were catching rainbow trout on flies down at the local creek. I went through the house with a fly swatter and gathered up a dozen flies. :([8D][&:]

I found it very hard to put them on the hook.and I never got any bites.[8D]
