My good buddie's father spent a few days at this place last year and had a blast.

It's a hike, but might be fun.

I know its not Minnesota or Wisconsin, but if youre just looking for an awesome fishing trip for you and your wife, the ultimate place is Papoose Creek Lodge outside Ennis, Montana. Its seriously ridiculous. I was there this summer fly fishing the Madison River (which is world class) and the entire staff at the lodge caters to you 24/7. They even have in-house flyfishing guides endorsed by local flyshops and a staff member who can take care of any need u would want. The food is amazing as well they have a professional in-house chef who really knows his stuff. He would whip up whatever I was hungry for whenever I wanted it. At least give it a look.
