Big Walleye

Well we went out to one of our local lakes and we couldnt believe it when my dad pulled this big walleye in. In that lake the average size is about 2-3lb walleye this one weighed 8lbs and measured in at 30 inches. I know its not a massive walleye but it sure is for the lake that we fish at.

Looks about 28" from that angle. You'll have to come to the Red river in the fall or early winter for a real fatty, a 28" fish is about 9.5-10lbs. My best was 32" and 13.5lbs, the wifes was 28" and 11lbs, shaped like a football fat-fat!
No matter, that is a trophy 'eye where ever you are......NICE FISH, congrats!
