Let me give a So. Cal Secret. P-Line X-strong. The stuff is crazy strrong. I have used 4# to flip in the tulies with no problem. I have also caught good tuna on 12#. It is a bit more expensive but well worth it.

but once I strip the ironsilk off that reel I won't be putting more on.
Same here , didnt like it at all. Have it on a spinning reel and for some reason it has a mind of its own. Have fireline on two reels and love it. They also just came out with a clear version so the black stuff isnt an issue. I have the red cajun line on my baitcaster.
