There awesomw to catch but they do destory walleye eggs so whenever i catch one we jus kill it.

Grind up the meat, mix it with spices and powdered potato mix, form into patties, and then deep them. Choupique patties are so good, you will eat them cold for breakfast the next morning. There's not too many fish that aren;t pretty damn good when fixed right.

I know they have them in the lake I fish on but I have never caught one.

I have never really tried to eat them, and never will. I just catch them for the fight they put up.

I've never eaten carp. I enjoy canned sucker and I love Burbot. Burbot is actually one of my favorite fish to eat but there isa small trick to cleaning them. When cleaning you shouldn't open the belly....... cube up the meat and boil it in salt water, then fry for a few seconds in a *hot* cast iron w/bacon fat...... dip in garlic butter and its very similar to lobster. yum
