Joe's Flies
Picked up a few of these today at lunch. Basically a spinner with Fly fishing type lures attached. Guy next to me yesterday was pulling a fish out every other cast with the one he had. Anyone ever use these lures ? Seem to be a good idea. Going to use them tonight if the thunderstorms hold off.

RE: Joe's Flies
I have used them and have had good luck with them. I use them on trout. I use the ones that are brown with some red, the stream I fish on has alot of sculpin. The sculpin are brown and red.

RE: Joe's Flies
caught 6 crappie and 2 sunnies in an hour and a half using a white Joe's fly. Soon as it hit the water they were attacking it. This was on a lake [8D]go figure. Going to get a couple more today. Seem to like the brighter colors...threw a brown one a few times and no response.

RE: Joe's Flies
They are my go to lure. I have about 5 of them in different forms. They just came out with a larger oz. one that I picked up today and can't wait to try. The speckled trout # 45 will catch em' almost every time. They are kinda light but you can add a weight about 8 inches up on the line and get them out there farther. I like them better than all others including rooster tails because the spinner action on JF's never fails no matter how slow you fish em'. If you slow down with other spinners the especially roosters the spinner will stop and the lure will sway. But JF's will just keep spinnin. ummmmm yea I guess you could say I like em'. :D

Haven't seen those before. Would like to try them. White Meps work pretty good in the ponds for bass.

I have very good luck with them on trout. Stock up when they go on sale at Walmart or Kmart.
