Well....i gone and done it now!!

Some of you know that i am moving in less than two months from PA to MO. I wasnt going to buy a fishing permit here in PA as they are 22 dollahs!! I was saving up for fishing supplies so when i go to MO i could tackle those smallmouth and those huge farm pond bass and catfish.

I go to school and have an hour break in between my classes.....which my school jsut so happens to be by a very beautiful river....well i broke down and bought a permit so i could fish.....and boy was it worth it!!!

I was throwing a rapala floating minnow the whole time. Just wanted to catch fish....

Well after the first few cast i was hooked up into a smallie that was all of 7 inches. I cought about a dozen smallies that big and some huge gills too.

Cought some largmouths that went for 15 inches and then it came.....not a big smallie, but the biggest one so far this year. it was 15 inches long and was a high flier. He thought he was air jordon the way he jumped.

The water was cool and very clear. It was moving pretty fast to from what it usually does, so i was concentraiting on where the slack water met the current and around boulders. i did however see a largemouth that was pushing 4-5 pounds, but couldnt get a strike.

All in all it was a great day to be oustide
i also dropped my phone in the water.....now i am out the bucks for that too......ugh but still a fun day

Thanks.....

to post multiple pictures all you do is click the the link to do it. It is the yellow box with mountains on it. You have to have your pictures on some sort of web hosting like photobucket, and you enter in the link to the picture, and it will post it. You have yo put it on one at a time, but you can do multiple ones. The yellow box with the mountains is on the same line where you can make your font bold. There is also a picture of the world not to far from it on its left hand side.....

hope that was eimple enough

went out again today.....this time with the ultralight for some bluegill.....worst mistake ever.

Firsh fish was a GIANT smallmouth. With the rod being some light i didnt get a good hookset and he threw it on his jump.

After that got some pretty awesome strikes on my rapala minnow. Also got two killer topwater strikes that i MISSED...one on a popper and the other on a buzzbait....

going to go out again in a few days once school is out!
