Cool I'll be back to play again next year. The other kid was not in the Tournament. I caught the fish at 3:30 p.m. right after a severe tunderstorm if you look close you can see it was still drizzling rain. Caught it on a Zoom Horny Toad it come clear out of the water when it hit it.

That is one pretty fish.Did you release it or mount it.? To be honest with ya I would have mounted it.How long was it?? Great picture by the way. There is no arguement that that fish is 9 pounds. real long ,stout fish. Great color...and I'm glad you caught him in a little jon boat.What kind of line was you using ?

I released as soon as we got done taking pictures. It was 26in. long. I was using 15lb. World Wide Sportsman Camo line. The horny toad color was Black/Yellow Swirl it is the best color I've found.

Thanks for the update. Have you caught any bass bigger than that before? Do you have any mounted? That really was a beautiful colored bass. Where I fish at they are whitish because of all the sand. I like the dark green ones better like yours.

Sorry guys for missing the deadline. I just got back from down south and did catch a couple dinks and maybe halfway decent one down on farm 13 in fellsmere, fla. If i can figure out how to post it, I will.

Chuck 7 that is the biggest bass that i've ever caught by 2lb. I do have one bass mounted it was the first bass i ever caught it only wwas 1lb. I am looking for that elusive 10 before i break the bank and mount it.

You and me both..I liked the color in your 9 pounder I would of had him mounted for sure. One of the prettiest bass I've ever seen.
