I love to run a slow texas rigged lizard by them or sometimes a spinner bait. What ticks them off enough to get them away from there beds.

I'm in Texas. If the bass is big, I'll gently as possible flip a 8 - 14" swimbait with 20 lb yo zuri hybrid on a diawa l&t flipping stick with a shimano curado.

If the fish is under 8 lbs or so, i'll throw a 5 - 7" senko on the same setup. (carry two so you dont have to switch lures)
