Ice Armor Suit

Alright, I have decided that it is time to spend some money on a good snow suit. I was looking in a magazine and noticed a suit by Ice Armor. I know that my local Gander Mountain carries them but I haven't really looked closely at them yet. Do any of you own this suit and what are your thoughts?

RE: Ice Armor Suit

I ice fish almost every day in Vermont for pan fish. I ordered a Cabelas down parka and pants in the mid to late 90's and it has served me well. I was never cold and fishing pan fish you are on a bucket all day without generating much effort so you need a warm outfit. This year the outfit is getting really ripe and the feathers are falling out of the holes in the parka. I went to Gander and looked atthat ice suit. It didn't appear to have much fill so I question how warm it would be. It is water proof but I decided it wasn't for me. I ordered a pair of Gortex 200 gm Thinsulite bibs and a gortex down parka from Cabelas. The bibs are great but the parka isn't filled with as much down as my old parka. I was really disappointed with the producxt and sent it back. I ordered the Cabelas North Slope Goose Down Parka and hopefully it will be the same quality as my old Parka. I wish it were gortex but I would rather be warm. When it is warm enough to rain I have a good Gortex rainsuit to wear so I have all the bases covered. I hope this helps.
