Default Ice Fishing Jigs

I just got my licence last weekand once the water ices up i will be going icefishing for the first time. I plan on jiging for brook trout and some rainbow trout on a local pond. I'm wondering what lures i should use for jiging, how deep i should jig andhowmuch i shouldtwich my rod. thanks for your responces.

Small to med spoons and trout jigs with wax worms or maggots on the hooks work great for trout. As for how deep depends where they are. Start 1 foot off the bottom and work your way up until you find the strike zone. But 90% of the time they are just off the bottom. You should jig your rod constantly.
