Yes, I love spending the night on the Ohio River just waitin' for the big one. The biggest is a 37# Flathead. My brother-in-law and I use live shad for bait caught out of the creeks using a casting net. Sometimes like when the water is high in the creeks in the spring we cheat and set trot lines and limb lines using live bluegill for bait. You never know what you're going to catch on a limb line. Might be a 15# Snapping turtle, you just never know

I am a serious catfisherman. We don't have the huge 37 pounders. My biggest was a 6 lb channel. But there is a lot of them. Spring time is best none stop fishing all day. Can't wait till spring to get out on the St.Croix. I usually use nightcrawler, minnow or crawdads as bait. Stinkbait work to sometimes, too messy though. I would like to try limblining someday, I don't think it's legal here though.<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
