bass right now
 

im gonna get to go bass fishing on friday in missouri. what do bass generally bite on during the late summer/early fall? i'd appreciate any tips thanks

Fishing should be good. The Small Mouth bass have been biteing like crazy here in North Dakota. I caught a bunch of them here lately, most from 15 to 19 inches. Three to 4 and a half lbs. Lots of fun Boy do those smallies ever put up a fight. Good luck, I am heading to Devils Lake ND for Walleye on Thursday. They say the big Pike are biting too. Fall is great, the best time of the year to fish as far as I am concerned.
