White perch in the Fall??

Can anyone tell me if the white perch move up the creeks like they do in the spring?
I was doing very well crabbing this year on a particular creek in Southern New Jersey that normally holds perch in the spring but, I have never fished it in the fall & was wondering if they(perch) migrate back into the creeks this time of year?
Thanks,
MB

I don't think so but not really sure. I think they run the rivers in the spring chasing bait but we catch them on deep water humps in the lake in the winter (ice fishing) so I don't think they go shallow until spring.

I used to fish for white perch in Maryland. I love those fish. They are a blast during spawning season. No I never caught any in the fall.Of course maybe it was because I was out dove and squirrel hunting.;)
