$$$$ lures
What is the lure you go to when all else fails, what do you have more confidence in than any other bait? For me it’s a skirted twin tailed grub on a stand up jig I have all ready won 3 tournaments this year because of those goofy looking things.
P.S. for bass orany other fish |
RE: $$$$ lures
first of all whats a stand up jig??
For smallmouth bass i would have to choose a 3-3 1/2 in brown finess tube. For largemouth it would be 3/8 ounce black and blue jig with a craw trailer. |

A stand up jig head:

RE: $$$$ lures
I think you really have to have a handful to rely on not just one because of diffenernt seasons My top three would be a Jerk bait (Rapala #13) White willow leaf spinnerbait 1/2 oz. and The old Pig and Jig still works

RE: $$$$ lures
First and foremost would be a 4" tube jig and if I had to just pick one color it would be black and blue but that wouldn't be the case because I have a forty pound bag of them;)
Second, would be a Hank Parker Classic spinnerbait (chartruse and white, or black) with a gold Colorado and a gold Indiana. Third, would be an original Big O crankbait. |
RE: $$$$ lures
When all else fails I go to my road runners plain white of chartruse and red

RE: $$$$ lures
when all else fails my go to baits which I have had alot of sucess with both is either a pink or white whacky worm rig or a 4 inch chartreuse and pepper chomper on a 1/8th ounce stand up jig head.

RE: $$$$ lures
3/8 oz chartreuse or white spinnerbait, willowleaf/colorado blades. i can cover water fast with it and get those reaction strikes even on crappy days when only finesse will produce. The spinnerbait is the most versatile bass lure ever created.
